A daring visual relaunch for pioneering social site.
After a successful creative pitch, Myspace commissioned Hawaii to create a brand new identity that captured the spirit of their social networking service. With a strong emphasis on music and the arts, it was important that this new identity be flexible and engaging, as well as tempt users with something unexpected.
With such an established brand and url, we wanted to push the boundaries and deliver a brand identity that was timeless. The word ‘Space’ is indicated visually with a bracket, acting as a playful visual framework to showcase music, film or products.
